Laundromat 008

I have been working alot of overtime at work and just moved into another house. It is just in the last 2 weeks that I feel like I'm starting to settle into my new studio. So forgive me for the inactivity on my blog, but here is my latest painting just completed.
14" x 12" / oil on panel

Hey Donald! I am glad you are all settled and painting again. I was wondering if you have a huge collection of train and laundromat images or if you are constantly taking new ones to do more paintings? Fresh paint!
p.s. I watched the last painting (train with overpass) leave the gallery during my show! Hope you get a check soon!

Beautiful painting Donald! Those brush strokes and textures are quite intense and deeply engaging. I hope things are well with you and your family!

Hey Chris! How did your show go? Wish I was there. Yes I do have a collection of photos I take where ever I am. I have laundromat photos I have taken in L.A., Salt Lake City, here in Bend, and as far as Boston. As far as train collections, they are mostly from Salt Lake City as the trainyards here are not as interesting. Stuart, how are you? I have been doing well, as usual very busy. Hope your business is going well too!
