Still Life

I was getting a little bored having done environments for a very long time. So I wanted to do a still-life for a change but be thematically consistent. As my thoughts are always in the urban sprawl/poverty/mundane, I picked a can of Spam as my subject which is what I grew up eating almost everyday.

Sweet! or should I say, Salty! Nice job Donald, I will look for this one if it hasn't walked out already.

Nice still life Donald! I especially like the handling of the space around the point of focus ...and happy belated Thanksgiving.

Thanks guys! Chris this sold the day it arrived so you probably missed it. I plan to make more, though. Hey Eric, how are things down south? Yeah still-lifes is not what I normally do...but you can tell I needed a change of subject matter!

Things are well... just starting to work on Rapunzel. I just finished up Prep and Landing (re-airing on the 16th at 8pm KABC) and Beauty and the Beast (stereoscopic format.) I've also posted a new landscape on my blog... more to come. How are things?

Eric, things are real good. Very busy with the day job and now I'm in 2 galleries so keeping up is harder. Family is good and healthy. I'll go and check out your latest.
