I came back to this one again. So much content for such a small piece. I'm not sure who your painting heroes are - but I know your pieces stand in good stead amongst contemporary painters. I, too, am content in what I do/paint, regardless of what others may think or how my work will be judged in some unknown future.

Thanks again, Patrice. Makes me think about doing more smaller paintings. My contemporary heroes are Dan McCaw, Ann Gale and Tessa Meecham. And the all-time ones are Chuck Close, Willem de Kooning, Elmer Bischoff and Henry Ossawa Tanner.
